A. School Project
AMI Nursery/Primary School in Chad with 105 pupils has been running effectively for the less privileged in Chad. The student population increased to 155 by September 2011 when we took in 50 new students. AMI is committed to free and qualitative Nursery/primary education for the students. It Is 100% free, with provision of uniforms, books, feeding etc. The existing rented school building has been earmarked for demolition, leaving AMI with the option of building 10 classrooms and staff rooms to accommodate the pupils and staff by September 2011.
There is a land on which we have been building a new Parish for the Missions in Chad. We proposed to build the school on this property and also complete the Church Building. The new School project has been estimated to cost €80,000 exclusive of the existing Church Building.
